Obituary for Richard M. Bonzagni

Richard “Bonz” M. Bonzagni, 66 of Methuen passed away on June 16, 2016 at Merrimack Valley Hospice House with Kathy and Patricia by his side. Born in Manchester, NH on May 6, 1950 he was the beloved son of the late Henry and Marcelle (Drapeau) Bonzagni.of Woolwich Maine. 

Dick was a 1968 graduate of Lynnfield High School where he excelled in playing football, hockey and baseball; he then attended Alfred University and Northeastern University. 

Dick started out his career in the Plant Department of New England Telephone and retired after thirty years of service as District Manager of sales and training from Verizon. 

Dick loved fishing and the ocean. He was an avid sports fanatic, especially enjoying the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins. 
Dick was a member of the Verizon Pioneers, the Sargent Improvement Club and the Rocky Club. He was loved by many and a friend to all who knew him. He will be dearly missed. 

Besides his mother Dick is survived by his sons, Richie, Gregory and Patrick, his fiancé Patricia White, his brother Michael, a very special nephew Tony Bonzagni, an aunt, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. 
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 2:30-5:30 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St. Methuen. Funeral services will follow the conclusion of visitation at 5:30 PM in the funeral home chapel.
